Oku

Enriching the experience of sensory ‘depth’.

Space draws me in.
I’m intrigued by the layers within the layers.
Fascinated by the quiet inside the noise.

In my creative process, the more time I invite in, and less concern I have around managing all the micro details. The clearer and more open my channel becomes.
The more freedom I evoke during my day.
Synchronistic joys bubble to the surface of my reality and an energetic humm of support swirls amidst my intuitive downloads.

I create flow.

Oku, a Japanese concept speaks to the notion that creating space slows down time, whether that be felt physically as we enter a space or spiritually as we journey deep within.

The human need and desire to move forward and search deeper holds the essence of Oku.

To celebrate this wisdom cultivate space in your day and infuse it into your practices. Search for the void within multidimensional layers, and journal along the not-so-direct path to your center, simply because time, as we know it to exist, is not as linear as we once may have believed.

Embrace the gaps within that are often hidden, between spacial creases, boundaries, and layers. Move slow. Take time to ‘Be’ with yourself, and witness your thoughts.

Find the Oku in your breath.
Between the steps, you take as you dance.
Interlaced through speaking thoughts.
Take time to absorb life’s innate beauty and your creativity will expand beyond measure…
